Hello everyone... I have been watching the little birds in the mornings, fluttering in and out of the shade tree.. It has inspired me to pick up my wool and needle felt bird ornaments... I often wonder what these wee creatures are talking about as they sing their beautiful songs... I hope you enjoy viewing. Thank you all for your constant support and beautiful thoughts left here for me.
I am not on the computer as much as I would like, and my visits have been few as of late.. Just trying to extend the life of my ol computer by visiting once a week for a while...
If you would like to visit my auction you may find it
here.
Wishing all a beautiful weekend.
Penny

Penny, she is so angelic! What an inspiration you continue to be, my dear friend. I have just returned home from the wild bird store...oh...my...goodness....bird baths and fountains and feeders amongst the flowers and trees outside invited me to linger before I could even enter the little shoppe! I have returned home with thistle feeders for front yard and back, suet feeders for front and back yards, and a large cylindrical sunflower seed holder for all the cardinals passing through this winter. So I am catching up with everyone now, anxious for the evening feedings to begin. We sat last evening on our back deck with the newly installed tin roof, while it rained...watching the birds flit in and out of the high tea bird feeder....such simple pleasures, but oh how precious!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by, and I am so glad you enjoyed a relaxing visit with our feathered friends.
Bisous, mon amie,
Christie

ReplyDeleteYour comment on my painting was very flattering, but there are so many more mistakes to fix.
( Now,about that little Jemima sculpture, if you make it, please give me a heads up on the auction date? If you haven't started it yet, I took a few face shots of her yesterday. I can send them when I get home from this show. I am in North Carolina at the moment, and this computer is not set up with e-mail)

I had to come to see you again precious. I love your work and this bird is so free and wonderful. A PERFECT transport for two chubby rats to take yet another trip to the cosmos....but for now, we shall enjoy the free-flight of this young creature and see where she goes...sending you a lot of love, Anita
