Bebe's Adventures Come to the Luau

Photos of Hawaii were taken by my son on a business trip last year..






I hope you will all follow along with Bebe this summer as she starts out on her adventures.. She has just landed in Hawaii and has invited everyone to join her at the Luau... She has her grass skirt and a ~fancy one~ for evening... I hope will follow along. So grab you grass skirt and come join the fun... See you there!


Bebe is now available on Ebay if you would like to visit her auction..

Her pink flower skirt was made from rose petals from my garden.. Hand strung on thread... Skirt just slips over her little belly... Her grass skirt is made from light weight hemp.

    HERE I AM, before I go home...I am still in my classroom, but this is giving me so much joy, PENNY!!!! Ahhhhh....the future of Bebe's adventures is NOW REVEALED and now we can start our fun time PROPERLY!!!! SHE IS SO, SO DARN CUTE!!!! I love the skirts, and the detail dearest, that you put into making her evening outfit from REAL ROSES FROM YOUR GARDEN is just amazing. The little hemp skirt....oh dear...where do you get the dexterity in your fingers to do this!!!! I AM OFF TO HAWAII NOW to go with this little darling. Hey! SHE IS PART OF THE SISTAHOOD...she is on the beach too!!!!

    Teeeeheeee! Are you going to provide some of that PORK OF A SPIT that they serve at luaus....what is that called...PO? Well Tea Rat is getting silly ideas AGAIN to wear a grass skirt...oh dear...there is NO stopping that rat....Rattus is just getting over his nightmare with the pink ribbons, now he may have to deal with grass skirts flailing in the air!     TeaRat and I are making arrangements to come to... what was the place you said?... HI-WHY-HEE? Never heard of it. Must be beyond the borders of Nowhere. But looks quite pleasant.

    Anyway, I'm sure we'll have a smashing time. (And just between us, my old friend TeaRat has a crush on Bebe, but don't let him know that I told you that.)

    One last thing. Guess who has come to live with us at Witsend?

    LILI THE LITTLE BEAR. We met her at some place called the Bay of E (the locals call it EBay), or some such thing. Delightful creature. The joy hasn't stopped since she arrived at our doorstep via mail courier of all things.

    We wish to give Bebe and Mama our heartiest thanks for creating and rearing our wonderful new friend. (TeaRat says Lili Bear has... how did he put it?... Ah, yes, "A massive cute factor.")

    Yes, we are quite snug in our cottage at Wits End. Tea time first thing in the morning with buttered tea cakes, then at 9:00am SHARP, breakfast time with tea and biskies, ELEVENSEES with Orange Tea Cake then so on and so on.     Oh how I love to see Lily bear and say, "SHE IS MY BEAR NOW!!!" And dearest, that ROSE you sent me, it is NOW on my sidebar with a link to your blog. I still have Jasper in his crown, but I just had to share that fabulous rose. I want to smell the raspberry and almond....I eat raspberries and almonds in my chocolate yogurt and cereal EVERY MORNING!!!
