And to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteOh Penny Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteShe is exquisite. I love her expression. The love of a Mother for her Child of God. How absolutely beautiful she is. Heavenly...
You captured all of the serenity and beauty, and she appears to be whispering sweet songs of love to Baby Jesus. I so love this. Her hands, how she carefully is cradling him.
Oh Penny I am almost at a loss for words for the beauty that I beheld when I opened the page and saw your finished masterpiece. I know God himself is smiling, as he said, "Well done my faithful servant." You have served him well in this beautiful masterpiece.
Thank you for sharing with me this evening. Oh my heart is so "Happy". Finished just in time for CHRISTmas.
Penny, my sweet friend. I have so enjoyed blogging with you this year, and I cannot wait to see what 2011 brings. May God richly bless you and your family this CHRISTmas season.
You are SO loved sweetie. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry
Dearest Penny, You have brought so much into my life this past year with your beautiful artwork. From the whimsical adventures of sweet Bebe to your beautiful angel paintings, and esquistie relief. Coming to visit you here is always so very peaceful, serene, joyful, and completely lovely! I look forward to getting to know you better this upcoming year, and to seeing what beauty you will create. Peace and Blessings always Penny, Merry Christmas sweet soul, with love, Christel
ReplyDeleteMy precious soul...here I am to enjoy the completion of a piece that I know has been in your care for so long..and it is extremely touching to see it finally done. Penny, your talents and most of all, your kindnesses have meant the world to me. This has been a fantastic year of blogging, laughter, animal antics in Nowhere and the grand finale of finally MEETING YOU IN CALIFORNIA, that was the icing on the cake. I want to wish you, from the bottom of my heart, the most blessed and memorable Christmas with those you love. We are here alone, but filled with great joy knowing we have family and great friends surrounding us through love, the GREATEST GIFT OF ALL....
ReplyDeleteLovely work, brilliant vision, and a most touching finished product....bises, Anita
My dearest Penny,
ReplyDeleteYou have touched our lives. From Bebe to the poot poot, Gigi and her scandalous dance, and to the meeting in Old Orange, you have enchanted my heart this past year. What can I say to my dear friend other than continue the love that you share through your talented hands....I will forever, as long as I live, look upon Tea Rat and Bebe, sitting under a special cloche, and giggle at all of our antics this year. May the LOVE that surrounds us all be yours forever sweet angel....Anita
Your are a very talented lady, I did think I was following you, but it seamed not!! Well I am now. So will be popping in from time to time to see you.
ReplyDeleteThank You for wishing Dad A Happy Birthday.

So serene and lovely Penny. She is truly beautiful as are all of your creations. I'm the proud owner of Wings of Hope that I was fortunate enough to get a couple of years ago.
ReplyDeleteMay you be blessed in the coming New Year.
Judy
Hi Penny, hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Your Madonna and Child is so, so beautiful. The weather has been much improved hasn't it. I sat in the sun for a little while today, it was lovely.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you and yours, Bonnie
Dearest Penny,
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful!! I stand in awe of your talent! Oh... I wish I had had time to visit before Christmas...I would have posted it and linked back to you. But you know... I'm sure I will have need for such a work in the months to come. So I will let you know, and if you want me to post it, I would be honored to do so! (With a link to you, of course!)
What a beautiful posting for the last one of the year!!
Many blessings, dear Penny!
Ann
p.s. Hope your Christmas Day celebration was perfect!
Oh Penny my dearest,
ReplyDeleteYou came today! I know you have got to still be in the entertaining mode at the moment, but your visits are always anticipated and so welcomed dearest...it is like a visit from a family member....Oh thank you for your kind comments dearest one; we are slowly seeing Rabbit Hill turn into our little chateau, big enough for our entertain goals and yet small enough to manage....tomorrow, MORE WORK WILL BE DONE! The pictures I have on my post are actually old now; the siding is up and the roof is on, but the snow is covering it all up!!!
May you bask in the afterglow of fine company with your beloved family dear one. Hugs to you and the fuzzy family! Anita
Hi Penny, it's me again! We got a great break in the weather again didn't we? They say we must prepare for another rain so stay dry!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you this day after Christmas, Bonnie
It is a marvelous piece, Penny. I am sure it was joyous to work on. Sometimes, it is bittersweet to finish artwork that brings one such satisfaction during the process. But onward ho to the next! And here is wishing you a new year full of wonderful creativity and happiness.
ReplyDeleteOh dearest Bebe, you must get your beauty nap, as we all are trying to fit in! Then, one more round of partying and then Goodnight Moon.....and let a New Year begin....hugs to you both...Anita
ReplyDeleteDearest Penny,
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for *meeting* you this past year and for all the love that you shared throughout your work. Babe is so sweet and a refelction of your soul and this relief is marvelous and yes, yes, it is peaceful too.

ReplyDeleteWishing everyone a blessed New Year. Thank you all so much for your time, kindness and thoughts..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chicken soup Anita! I am feeling a bit better.
I am looking forward to a magical new year. I am blessed. Wishing good health, happiness and love to all.
Bisous,
Penny
We made it Penny! 2011! Be well my sweet, Anita
ReplyDeletePRETTY PENNY!!! Oh dearest, you would look smashing in those pink pumps! And as Tea Rat has good taste in green Wellies, he knows what is good....he agrees that you would look so lovely in your pink heels and can't wait for Spring so we can all get dressed up and strut around in Nowhere with no fear of the snow. Last night, our friend who is a psychologist came over. She is a delightful friend and colleague of Ruben's over at the University and she got the FULL scoop on Tea Rat and Rattus. WE laughed so hard as she became almost redundantly sucked into our world. However when she saw YOUR TEA RAT AND BEBE SCULPTURES under the cloche in my living room, she melted and all doubts of their existence vanished. She still thinks we are nuts, however!!! But she caught herself smiling and "oohing and ahhhhing" over the posts in Nowhere. CHEERS TO YOU DEAREST ONE FOR ANOTHER SMASHING YEAR TOGETHER!!!! Anita
ReplyDeleteYour work is truly beautiful Penny! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and are blessed with everything possible in the coming year. Thank you for your visits to me. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us.
ReplyDeleteDearest and sweerest Penny!!! Wishing you a blessed New year where good health and prosperity can be found!!!
ReplyDelete2010 was a fantastic year and some of my precious time was to get to know you and your kind heart!
Love you~
Oh precious, I WAS JUST THINKING OF EMAILING YOU but first I went to my blog and THERE YOU WERE!!!! I am so glad to see that you are up...are you feeling better dearest one? I so worry...these flus can really get us down....thank you for taking the time to visit and Penny, you really enjoy this post? Is it the blue? What a fresh color....I send you all the sunshine dear one and you know what? I miss Bebe....has she been flying her Poot-Poot lately? If you have a moment, get on board with her and go pay a visit to the boys at Wit's End...Ruben has taken up the pencils and his WIT is unleashing in a great way.
ReplyDeleteWE LOVE YOU! Anita
Dear friends
ReplyDeleteI first would like to thank you ALL for your kind words and taking time to stop and visit.. I caught a bug and am trying to shake it off.
I am looking forward to visiting all of you soon.. Little a time.. I am getting there Anita. Better than yesterday. Thank you dear one. Bebe has been talking about flying lately.. Maybe soon.
Yes, I love your post.. It is the blue, but it's everything.. Your words images, just something about it.. Must be YOU..
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
Love and blessings,
Penny
Hi Penny,
ReplyDeleteAnita tells you me you have been ill, but are feeling better now. I'm so glad. I'm blown away at the Madonna relief. Wow. Rattus and Tea Rat say Wow, too.
Love
Ruben
Dear Penny,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for praying for Edward! He is such a dear little guy! We've had him two months now and not one of us has been scratched! And that's with cramming medicines in him, wiping his bottom, and taking him to the vets more time than a little nine month old kitten should have to go!
I might be able to use this lovely relief tomorrow!! I'd like to tie in the birth of Christ with His baptism... Only 30 years separated the two events... so little along the timeline of men. But then again, God doesn't even think in terms of time. Everything is in the here and now... I'm rambling! Forgive me!! :) I will let you know if I can include the relief!! Again...thanks so much for letting me! I will of course link it to you! It is just breathtakingly beautiful... so full of emotion.
Blessings!
Ann
Dear Penny,
ReplyDeleteI just posted your wall relief!! Please let me know what you think and if there is anything I should change! Thank you so much for letting me use it! Honestly, it is just breathtakingly beautiful. And you know, it's so wonderful to know that artistic people today - such as yourself - are still honoring God with such glorious work. I can almost see Him smiling!
Blessings!
Ann
Hi Penny, HAPPY NEW YEAR! What's this about you being under the weather? Hope you are felling much, much better. I am so happy for the break in the rain and am looking forward to the weekend as I would like to sit in the sun and do some reading. Wish me luck!
ReplyDeletexoxo, Bonnie

Could I be anymore blessed than to have such kind and thoughtful words from such dear friends.

ReplyDeletePenny, Just popping in to say hello as I take a little air outside of the "studio". I wonder what magical images and creations you are dreaming up this year?!!
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, What a beautiful fine piece!!!Amazing, I love this type of artwork. Sorry to hear that you wasnt feeling well, its nice to visit and see you have created such a truly wonderful work of art. Sincerely, Jonny .
ReplyDeleteWarm wintry greetings dear Penny!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have been away from blogging for far too long, my thoughts have never been far from your door. I pray you are firmly on the path to full recovery. The same Mister Bug who visited you has been busy around here as well, I'm afraid. And he has been biting at my heels too, but I must be rather hard to catch when running after all the munchkins from morning to night.
Penny, your relief speaks significantly to my heart as I look upon the most important moment in history. I have not yet found the courage to attempt such an emtional subject as our Lord...But your interpretation has truly been blessed by the angels and the Spirit of Christmas! Mother and Child are beautiful, Penny, and I imagine the Christmas Child smiled upon them in great satisfaction...
Just as we did when our cheerful holly teapot and Bebe was opened!! Bebe ofcourse promptly brewed us all a cup of mint tea, and she could barely contain herself while we opened the SECOND box. She rushed right over and tucked in the baby when we pulled her from her wrapping! Thank you ever so much for honorng us with this sweet child from your heart. You could not have sent her to a more loving and appreciative home...
My prayers are wrapped all around you this night. I hope you are sleeping soundly with sweet dreams echoing gently in your mind. And awake refreshed and well in the morn.
lovingly, Rose and the Flockling
p.s. the pink little stowaway moussie is a wee miracle of sweetness. How could you felt her so small, yet so realistic?! We LOVE her...and she sits here at my desk tucked in next to Bebe.
PENNY!!!! DEAREST, this is the first time that I can even come to the computer with all the hubbub going on here with the building. I will send you a picture later this morning of THE ARCH! THANK YOU FOR VISITING ME AT CASTLES! And....I just barely saw the Dutchess's darling drawing! It is so good to see her back in the saddle! Now, when you are able, strap in Bebe and get her flying high again!!!! I LOVE YOU PENNY GIRL!!!! Anita
ReplyDeletePrecious, precious Penny,
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking of your last night as I was coming home from school. I was thinking that I missed you and I needed to drop you a line but when I got home, I had to do a couple of things with Ruben for the new rooms. Then dinner came and of course I needed to spend time with Ruben. Before you knew it, I WAS OUT LIKE A LIGHT! But to see your comment on my post and knowing that you hopped on over to visit just delighted me. I means so much to me that not only would you visit my post, but that the friendship that means so much to me is still something that is important to you as well. How are you feeling my sweet friend?
May each and every day be a new day towards energy, health and NEW CREATION!!!!
Off to work now, Anita
Good morning Penny...I see from above comments that you have been a little under the weather....here is wishing a speedy recovery for you. Also....I have to tell you that of every thing you do creatively...I think I like your relief work the most...It is simply stunning!!! Thanks for sharing this beautiful artwork with us.
