Please meet ~ Joy ~ A wee winter fairy

Please meet Joy.. A wee winter fairy. Sculpted of Cernit, she sits 2 3/4" tall. She sat on my table for some time, waiting on me.. Looks as if she has fallen asleep sitting up.. (I've done that). I have dressed her in rose petals from my garden that have been sealed, and gave her a little sprinkle of fairy dust.. Her transparent wings are acrylic, they feel like glass. I hope you enjoyed meeting Joy.. She is available on Ebay if you would like to visit her auction..
Blessings,
Penny

  1. I'M HERE!!! IT TOOK ME A WHILE, BUT I'M HERE and lovin' it....Penny....you did it again! Let me ask you this; what kind of faerie dust do you use? Your photo skills are better than mine because my glitter projects just don't come out in photos, but here, Joy's magic just sparkles so gently and beautifully. ROSE PETALS from YOUR GARDEN, dearest.....now that makes her even MORE special. WEll, just when I thought you were the MOUSE MEISTER, you have shown that even your little faeries are a subject that you capture so well. Oh Penny, I never tire of the fun and magic that each one of us brings to the other.Thank you for coming by, thank you for being YOU.....and yes, I have fallen asleep sitting up too!

LOVE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU TODAY, Anita

  12. MERCI BEAUCOUP DEAREST PENNY! I love that color pink and the fine quality of the "dust"...I am using up a lot of glitter these days making wands.....this is what I love to do when I am not teaching, speaking of which I return this morning....I return to being OBSERVED this morning by a literacy coach and then tonight, more parent conferences, that which I am not eager to do. Ah.....there will be more glitter waiting for me!
I SEND YOU A BIG HUG TODAY and thank you for the MICHAEL'S TIP!!!

  16. A sparkly little dewdrop, is she! Just cunning.
About my framed art going up the steps, those are all very old prints of idyllic country scenes, some are quite battered and beaten, but I love to look at them nonetheless.
