Bebe is taking some time to enjoy nature at Yellowstone National Park.. What a great place to relax after such a long trip to Paris.. I think she ate enough pastries to last a life time.. She was so upset because she could not find any pants to fit.. Mum! she said... What am I going to wear? As you can see, her little pants are way below her belly... She has her backpack stuffed with just about everything she could think of, but I am sure she forgot something.. It looks as if she has already found a friend who is catching a ride on her back pack.
Details... Bebe and backpack are sculpted from a cernit mix.. The straps on her backpack are black stretch cord... Her tail is pink wire to keep her steady... Her fur is light brown wool and has been hand applied. She is now available on ebay if you would care to visit her 5 day auction.

OMG I AM SO LATE....I was out all day....came back late.....BUT LOOK WHAT AWAITS ME!!!! I am laughing at this sweet little girl who has an insatiable mission to SEE THE WORLD...no matter where! Oh the darling little tot, her pants are not fitting these days...well, a hike in Yellowstone on a daily basis will do the trick little girl! Whatever does she have in that backpack! Oh Penny, this is sweet genius....you make me cry. I just have a soft spot in my heart for Bebe and her adventures. Thank you dearest for visiting me yesterday and sharing a Creamsicle with me! HERE I AM!! Yep, I am dancing with Bebe down the lovely path..but we hear bears in the forest, so we are going to make a run for it!!! ReplyDeleteBebe has arrived here at the farm, but she is still awaiting her introduction to all the flockling. As soon as all the children are gathered back home again, we will have an opening party for her. This is always high excitement when a special new member of the family arrives.
Then she will settle onto a lovely display shelf in the Doll Room with other treasured little folk. It is almost as busy (and happy) on that shelf as it is here at your studio!
I always so enjoy reading the loving comments from your many devoted friends...a wonderful place to end the day...

Oh the weather yesterday was so strange.. When it hit 115 the sky turned black and THUNDER, but no rain... then it cooled down to around 100.

I said that I was very delighted to see that Bebe took my advice and traveled to Yellowstone, instead of baking on the beach in foreign lands, not good for a tender mousey's complexion, you know. Now, if she can get her photo taken as she sits atop the ear of a moose, her trip will be a complete success>
