Bebe's Adventures 'La Dolce Vita

Bebe has landed in Naples, California. A peninsula on the southern most tip of Long Beach. With street names Toledo and Florence, canals called Rivo Alto and Colonnade, you'll think you're in Italy. So that sealed the deal for Bebe! She called and said; Mum, no need to fly to Italy, I am in Naples, California.. I took a gondola ride and I had a grand time.. Right now I am at a beautiful Italian Restaurant waiting to be seated. Can you hear the music , does this just make you want to get up and dance? After my dining experience is complete I am off to Los Angeles County Museum of Arts… The hostess says my table is ready Mum, see you soon. Love, Bebe

I would like to thank all of you for coming along with Bebe this summer... I hope you have enjoyed her adventures as much as I have enjoyed creating them.. Bebe's table, arrangement and chair were also hand made..
Let us hope this post stays put... I posted this last night, and today it vanished. Let's hope this one sticks..

She is now available on ebay.. If you would like to visit her auction, click my ebay on the sidebar.

Blessings to all, Penny

  4. Oh dear little Bebe...You are making all the right choices. Who needs Italy when you can have it at your front door?

This post and the music were very special to me Penny. My parents had Italian friends that lived in Vancouver Canada and every year at New Years, we'd end up in their basement. My mom and two other accordian players would play this music and sing at the top of their lungs. I learned it when I was just a little girl. What fun it was! Now that I look back, it was a wild time...those Italians knew how to dine, dance and play the music!

  15. My dear, dear Penny and Bebe....what a sweet moment to see your visits early this morning...I was so tired last night when I got home. It took me an hour and a half to get from my school to go get Ruben from his school; downtown Minneapolis was crowded with Twins fans going to the stadium and then all the schools in the area are having open houses.....which brings me to my own TONIGHT! So.....again, another day of classroom prep, meetings, more classroom prep then OPEN HOUSE. I woke up at 2:00am and have been up since, so my friends, make me a stiff cup of expresso, I am going to need it today!!!!

LOVE TO YOU BOTH and thank you always, for your kindness and friendship. It means the world to me.....

Your visit to Nowhere today is so much appreciated and your gratitude is so sincere and kind; your work is admirable, fun and I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET the moment we opened up Bebe and Tea Rat. Their charm is so special to us, and doesn't Tea Rat look so proud to have his likeness in the center of town? :)))))) Bebe is my little hero!

Have a wonderful Friday, and the countdown is on for me....I gotta win these kids or else....oh dear, I am a little stressed!!!

    Bisous my dearest, Anita

We are enjoying clear skies, cooler weather, and quiet before the storm of school routine comes back. But thank heaven for it all.
