Please meet Zoe... Shhhhhhhhh...... Sleeping the day away in her matchbook.. She is a tiny bit of a mouse and is most comfortable in her matchbook. I really enjoyed creating this little one.
She measures 2" in length.. Handsculpted of cernit mix.. Heat set paints were used for her little pink belly and details... Her fur has been hand applied.. She is available on ebay if you would care to visit her auction.. I hope you enjoyed meeting Zoe.

Miss Zoe is just beautiful. You have outdone yourself again. What love you add to each of your creations. They are so whimsical and I so adore my precious Brie. She has been quite the companion for me during my 2 1/2 month stay in the house. I go back on Friday and am hoping the doctor will again release me to the outdoors. I need to be free again. I want to go back to work soon. I have been working from home for the last 2 weeks. Thank God I was able to do that because I had ran out of sick leave.

My dear, dear friend...I am so late, but yesterday, a little trip to the mall turned into a long and detailed excursion and before I knew it, dinner and then SLEEP overtook me!!! ZOE!!! O.K., you are performing your magic again for everyone to see and we are gonna have some fun here.....if only Ruben would sit still long enough to allow me to do my drawing! HHEEHEHEE!!

ReplyDeleteYes, yes, MANY layers of watercolors, Penny and lots of patience between them to let it dry otherwise the color gets muddy.
I am learning as you know and I am finding so much excitment as I do.
Now , I must sincerly comment on your precious sweet mouse. Her little cheeks and belly is so darlin .... and her size makes her even more special- well done , my friend!!!! *smiles*~P.

Jasper is doing fine.. We went on a mile walk this morning with Sis and he had a great time.

ReplyDeleteI think we are all our own worst critic aren't we? You know, watercolors are one of the mediums that has taught me patients, and yes, we can end up with a muddy mess if not allowed to dry between layers.. I have done this.. I have to say your Fox painting is beautiful beyond words...

I SO LOVE THE ONE WITH THE BLUEBIRD and the little fairy...I just painted something similar yesterday in an attempt to send a custom made birthday card for Patricia but it is funny looking!
