She is inspired!I don't really know for sure what it was, except that when I was there I saw this in my head.. A little french inspired.. I hope you enjoy viewing.. Reveur has been accomplished with acrylics on a 16x20 canvas. She will be available on ebay this evening.. It was a joy to paint, I hope she brings you pleasure..

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I have to tell you when I popped over here this morning, and saw your beautiful painting I just wept. On October 23, 2009, my niece Amy Dawn, 33 years old, passed away. You so captured her eyes in this painting, and she had beautiful brown hair, ofcourse from the chemo she didn't have much hair left, but Penny, she is so in this painting. Right down to her new gorgeous wings.
Thank you so much for touching my heart this morning. What a beautiful painting that someone will be so lucky to own. She will bring them much joy, this I know. Just seeing it brought such happiness to my heart. Thank you, thank you.

She has been carefully carried about all afternoon by Kaiya in her pretty drawstring bag. And then taken out every few minutes to show off her tutu. Ohhh.....I got plenty of bread; take your pick: French miette, French baguette, French boule, Ciabiatta, Foccaccia, Petit Pain, Brioche, OH you name it, I'll either whip it up or find it somewhere and we can sit and it it with olive oil or make a sandwich....yikes, I am eating breakfast and I am getting hungry all over again!!!! Penny dearest! You are so kind to make me a pot of tea! The Tea Rat says you are a killer tea maker and approves of your methods of placing the tea bags in a warmed pot, then gently pouring in the steaming water, letting it sit under a cozy and applying the right amount of milk. He said he recommends your Earl Grey with double bergamot...so there it is...my request for the day to wash away the germs!!!! And, how about a provençal sandwich with fresh bread slathered in pesto and roasted vegetables!!!!! Anita
