Greetings my dear friends
I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and was blessed with the company of family and friends. I would like to thank all of you for your kindness and encouragement… It has truly touched my heart.
In browsing through my sketches, I came across this one that I had never finished. Years ago I was on the beach and I saw this young women walking across the sand… When I returned home, I made a quick sketch of her but never finished the background. When I started painting, the background was going to be the ocean. I changed my mind and decided to put her into the light . I should be finished in a few days and will post the painting in its completion. I hope you enjoy viewing. Thank you for visiting, it is most appreciated.
Blessings, Penny

Dearest Penny,
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful that we met! And what a beautiful piece of art. Too bad that the young lady doesn't know about it, or does she? Because she would be thoroughly honored to be captured in such beauty and light. You inspire me. Thank you ever so much for being a light yourself and coming to visit me with such kindness and sincerity! May you have a prosperous new year, AND bring Bebe over for some tea!!! The Tea Rat and Rattus would love to nibble on some biscuits with her! SHe must also visit us in Nowhere and at Nocturne to make the acquaintance of other little "ronguers" as we say in French for rodents or little critters that gnaw! She is of a lovely pink hue that is so charming!
Stay safe, warm and cozy tonight as we ring in another hopeful year dear one. Anita
