Piff the Penguin

Good evening, and blessings to everyone..  My computer has been in the shop having a clean up.
All good now and back on line.
You know how things usually happen in three's ?  Well,  first it was the water heater, then outside pipe for the hose,  then the computer.. So I think I'm done, right?   Things could be worse, so I will just count my blessings..

Please meet little ~Piff~  the Penguin.  Needle felted in beautiful sheep's wool over a wire armature.
He stands 6  1/2" tall.  I have firmly needle felted his core, then gave him a second fluff coat by needle felting tiny pieces  at a time.  I hope you enjoyed viewing him.

Can you believe we will be in November, here has this year gone?

Today it is raining here.  Not much, just a sprinkle, but I will be happy with whatever comes down... We did have a good rain last week.. Much needed.

I have not shared photos of my roses in such a long time, but nothing to share. This has been the worst year for them..  Spring till October they are at their best.  Not so this year.  This month I think there were maybe 5 or 6 blooms total, in all my rose bushes...  I know they will recover at one point, and when they do I would love to share more photos.

Happy Halloween everyone!
blessings,
Penny

  1. Dear Penny,

Little Piff is so cute and love the way he is standing. We were watching a show the other night of the penguins down at the South Pole and they were so gorgeous tottering about.
    Happy new week
    Hugs

  8. Penny, it seems that when things go wrong, it happens all at once. But I love your spirit in being appreciative with what you have. Piff the Penguin is adorable in his little white and black felted body. It's been raining a lot here, even pouring, and I sure hope it rains for you down south also.

Happy November, dear Penny. Where did the year go?

    love, ~Sheri

  13. He is Soooooo cute! I love his fat belly-I could just hug him!
My roses didn't do that well this year either-I lost one bush completely. I only have one David Austin rose now-the rest have died one by one-so sad because they are so gorgeous....
