Please meet Darby the Mouse

Darby has been out in the pumpkin patch gathering a few small ones.. He plans on making his first pie. I know if he needs any help Bebe will be right beside him... He is very excited about roasting the seeds for a little snack while waiting for the pie.
Dear little Darby has been lovingly hand sculpted from a mix of polymer clays and has hand applied wool for his fur. He is a wee mouse measuring 2 1/2".. I have constructed his wagon out of balsa wood, I have always enjoyed using balsa.... I find it very easy to work with.. The wheels are wooden, unfortunately they do not move.. Oh well... it is my first wagon...

If you care to visit Darbys' ebay auction you may find it here Thank you so much for visiting.

  12. Dear Darby, I will be sending you my best recipe for Southern Pumpkin PIE. Although best if made with Tennessee Pumpkins, do not fret, your California pumpkins will do in a pinch. Tell your mistress she must give you some axles for your wagon as you will want to gather many more pumpkins when you taste this recipe! Your friend, Dimity Doormouse
