SURF'S UP ! Bebe has landed her poot poot at Doheny beach where the weather is warm, white sandy beaches and one of the best swimming and surfing sites in California.
Does Bebe know how to surf? Well, she has told me that with practice and a little courage she can do it. Most of us would not get on a surfboard with flippers, but Bebe says they help steady her. As to her swim suit. She had to have one that looked just like the one Gidget wore in the movie.. How could I refuse. I fashioned it as quickly as possible and sent it air express. She was thrilled!
Details: Bebe is 2 3/4" tall, sculpted of fimo polymer clay. Heat set paints were used for details. Her fur is brown merino wool that has been hand applied. Her tail is pink wool..
I have fashioned her fins and surfboard using a light weight foam. Her one fin is permanently attached to the board. This was the only way I could be sure she would stay steady.. She will be shipped off the board, you need only to slip her little foot into the flipper, turn her slightly as shown in photo and she will stand..
She is available now on ebay.

ReplyDeleteManneke pis was a little boy a sweet rascal in a distant past, that has saved the city. He peed on a burning fuse that would destroy the city of Brussels.
But actually he is the mischievous nature of Brussels. He has a statue that pees and he attracts many tourists. He also own a wardrobe that he wear on special occasions. He is the most famous inhabitant of Belgium and we are proud of him lol.
If you google his name then you can see lot of pictures of him and some in action ;))

Surf City, here I come! Well, not me.. but my oldest son would love to join Bebe, he's a surfin fool! That's pretty funny since he was raised in land locked Tennessee, but he has surfed all over the world and now that he lives in NYC, he is surfing in the Atlantic. I NEVER thought you could surf off the shores of NY...it seems so..so.. unnatural! GO BEBE!!!
