I found this beautiful little painted frame with carved roses along the top at a charming little shop in town called Romantic Home Treasures, owned and operated by Alysha and her husband. She also has an oline store that you may want visit. My Shabby Chic Furniture Home . As soon as I saw this frame, I knew what I wanted to paint.. It had an insert that was painted the same color as the frame. It appeared to be wood.. Upon taking it out of the frame, I saw that is was a mirror that had been painted . It was very nice to paint on actually.. The painting is 9 1/2" x 13" . This particular painting will not be offered on ebay... I just wanted to share it with you. I hope you find it pleasing to the eye.. Wishing everyone a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Penny

Hi Penny,
ReplyDeleteThe frame was a beautiful find and your painting is perfect for it. The painting is light and airy in pinks and lavender, and the tiny cherubs say "There's more to be seen in nature if you just keep an eye for it." Thank you for visiting Rattus Scribus. I think, though only time will tell, that he is getting wiser as he gets along in years.
Your friend
Ruben
PENNY!!! HOW WAS THE CHEESECAKE? Thank you my dearest for your lovely comment! You know, I will look at something with the intention to write about it! Since I was a child, I would take something and give it a name or a title. What a looney!!!! HEEEEE! Oh, I am still laughing at Jasper. Do you know George the Lad? What a funny blog. This Irish Terrier out in England is a hoot. He got into the town newspaper and they are naming a beer after him; he is quite the character! GO TO NOWHERE WHEN YOU CAN; RUBEN DREW A PICTURE!!!
ReplyDeleteLove to you, Anita

Penny...I had to gasp when I saw this beautiful floral with the precious baby cherubs. My mom was a china painter and she also did ceramic and porcelain, oils, chalks and even some pen and ink. When I saw this painting it looked just like what my mom would paint. It was a moment for me, that felt like a touch from mom in heaven.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you for the beauty you create.
Penny, What a beautiful painting!! You are so talented!! This painting makes me happy and brightens my mood when I look at it. Those are my favorite colors...have a wonderful week!!

Penny dearest! Tell Bebe I at my chicken porraige and I sleep A LOT!!! So, here I am, 4:10am, ready to try to get to school. I am going to have to keep speaking to a minimum today and let the kids try to do what they have learned with minimal speaking from me!!! Yes, Ruben and I had a blast seeing everyone's participation in his virtual BDAY party.....sheesh.....these virtual get-togethers are easier to organize and attend than physical ones!!! HAVE A LOVELY DAY and thank you for your support...my voice problem has now settled into a cough..I don't know which one I would rather have. The cough is no fun....
